- A direct-to-consumer brand selling houseplants to millennials online
Background
- Moving a lot between apartments and experiencing the friction of decorating them with plants, together with two friends I came up with the idea to launch a plant-focused D2C e-commerce brand
- Within a few days we set up an online store, developed the brand, launched a performance marketing campaign, and sold the first plants
- We ultimately abandoned the idea to focus on other projects but I learned a lot about operations and performance marketing
